Meet Jasmine Bellinger, a 2023 EES Memorial Scholarship Recipient
Jasmine Bellinger is a graduate of Lassiter High School. Jasmine is attending Hampton University this fall, where she is studying Biochemistry and Pre-medicine. Her career ambition is to work in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics, helping patients with disabilities overcome obstacles.

Florence’s life was characterized by her many kind deeds and words of encouragement for all to see and feel. She had an engaging personality and a generous and determined spirit. The Foundation was founded by her now deceased great-nephew, Edward Stokes, Jr., family, and friends who are dedicated to continuing her caring acts of love. ​Our mission is to positively impact the poor and disadvantaged of our communities by continuing Florence’s work of giving, loving, sharing and caring for those in need.

We are a non-profit corporation dedicated to aiding those in need. Over the years, we have provided food for needy families, assistance to the Oblate Sisters of Providence and scholarships for college students.
